Meet the Author

L.J. Long (Nom de plume) has been a Christian for over 35 years and has worked in faith-based non-profits for the past 23 years. During those 23 years, L.J. Long has served as a director of several faith-based non-profit boards.

When she was young she pursued and obtained a BS in Art and Technical Drafting. Her pursuit during those years was to become a lawyer or work in the Art field. The art field it was and after working in the art field for 10 years it turns out God had a different plan for the next season.

Soon after, she married and had a son and put away the paints and started sewing as a means for a creative outlet. During this new season, L.J. Long pursued her walk with God and learned about her spiritual gifts. She is also trained in Biblical Counseling and Critical Incident Stress Management. This was time when she felt it was necessary and started working for faith-based non-profits.

As time went on and the challenges of life took hold, God took her to a new place and she became versed in HR operations. This became a place of subsistence and as a daughter of an accountant and computer programmer, working with numbers has always been a place of interest.

L.J. Long has many interests including gardening, painting and playing number-based logic games.
